About Me: Hello my name is Jeanne. I retired from a job at the City of Rochester to care for my then 7mo old great nephew. He is now 8 yrs old and his sister is 5 so this September they will no longer need me as the children will be in school all day. It was the best decision I ever made. I got so much more from those children than I ever could from a office job. It is my true calling.! I did much more than babysit, I also did light housekeeping while they napped and I took them to doctor appts and on outings to library and playground etc. But keep in mind they are relatives. the family would have to be comfortable with me traveling with their precious cargo. I am not one to sit in front of televison, we did watch PBS shows that were age appropriate, we always had art time, reading time, play time . Always went out for walks to get fresh air. I truly love children and I find it works out best if they are young and I get to bond with them (If you are looking for long term care).I am looking for a position in Greece, New York. at your home. I request NO PETS , non-smoking home. My preferred hours are 7am to 4 Mon, Weds Fri or Tues and Thurs. I would consider watching the children Mon thru Fri if the pay is right and I am looking only to watch up to two children. I would be willing to bring and pick up at pre-K or pre-school if required.
