Hello, I am Alexis Cantu a 19-year-old girl looking for a good way to express her get work ethic. I just graduated high school May of 2017. I wen to Manor high school. When I was in high school I was very active. I played softball and volleyball. In middle school it was be trying to find myself, so I tried every sport. I have played softball sine I was in 1st grade, so I already knew I loved to play that. When I was in high school I was on varsity all 4 years for softball. As I was in high school I took a year course of Medical Assistance, which came out to 720 college hours. I am also PR, AED and FIRST AID certified. My first job was the reason for getting certified by all those because I was a lifeguard in 2016. When I was a lifeguard I was watching all the patron it made me notice I wanted to be a caregiver. Therefore, I have been looking to become a caregiver since that summer of 2016. I started on care..... the past summer of 2017 but it wasn't working out due to no one knowing of me and not having a rating on the site. Now I am a dispatcher at DCOMM INC. the reason for me wanting to leave here is because this job is not a good fit for me. don't worry I would never just give up on a child due to not being a good fit. I love children. I have known that I was wanted to be a caregiver since my brother had his first kid. I have watched my brother’s kids on occasion for about 10 years but that's not including the kids I have watch and the cousins/ family I have watched. I love kids and animals. Animal wise I have had 2 dogs, 2 cats, hamsters and some fish. I have animal sat a guanine pig. I have animal sat my uncles farm which include: ducks, horses, chickens, lambs, cows, etc. when I was animal sitting I bathed the animals. I washed the animals and if they needed to be taken on walks I took them on walks. I give every kid/baby my undivided attention same as with animals. I am very punctual. Sometimes I even leave maybe 15-20 minutes early to make sure that I am there on time.
