Sitter in Kyle, Texas

I have a 6-year-old daughter with 18P syndrome. She is the light of my life. Now that she is in school full time, I am looking to bring in some income. I am very passionate about working with children and especially special needs children. I am pursuing my degree in Child Development with a focus on Special Needs children. I am comfortable handling medical procedures like tube feedings and administering medications. I do a lot of volunteer work with Texas Parent 2 Parent and the Chromosome 18 Registry and Research Society. I believe strongly in positive reinforcement and gentle discipline. I also belong to the Austin chapter of Attachment Parenting. I think every child is a blessing and love working with children more than anything. I have been watching children since I was 14 years old but not usually for money. I do it because I love it. I am available weekdays from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. I have to be back in Kyle to pick up my daughter from school. I am very prompt and reliable. I may on occasion have a doctor's appointment with my daughter or she may be sick but I will give you as much notice as I possibly can. That might not be the wisest thing to put on a bio but as any parent of a child with special needs know, that is our reality. I live in Kyle and also do in-home child care. I am available to watch your child later than 2 p.m. if it is in my home. I just need to be available to pick up my own child after school.
