I strive to be a qualified, skillful candidate. I also wouldn't mind if the parent dropped child off at my home as well..... availability is after school on week days and weekends. Description of Skills: I will take care of transportation to and from extracurricular activities, homework help, and pet care. Further, I am willing to travel. I have extensive experience with in home daycare's as well as daycare centers. I worked at an in home daycare for 5 years in Alexandria ages 6 weeks to 13 years old. There I fed the children, conducted story time, walked the older children to and from their bus stop post, helped with homework and snack time. After graduating high school I was employed at a private daycare in Springfield Va, where I started out as a one year old assistant teacher I assisted the lead teacher with circle time, snack time, nap time and recess. I was then promoted to the Two Year old lead teacher where I taught children how to potty train, learn there colors and numbers in English and Spanish, conducted a lesson plan for the year, taught the alphabet, shapes, letters and numbers. I have experience with children with physical and learning disabilities as well. As a mother of two I take my job very serious as a nanny or babysitter my number one goal is to make sure the parents feel comfortable and at ease that they are leaving their children in the hands of someone with great experience and much love.
