Hello my name is Isis. I understand that finding the perfect nanny is difficult and worrisome and I want to help you find the right one. The initial cover letter is not enough for a responsible parent to give a sigh of relief. I am flexible with specific requests made by parents. I have worked with Muslim parents, vegan parents, parents that believed in only the positives in the world, and even parents that believed their child needed to be spanked by me (I will never, even with permission.) To me, a good nanny is not only flexible with requests but can provide that comfort needed to feel confident in leaving their child with the best. I build a strong relationship with the parents and the child by being a friend, family member, advisor, and nanny. I encourage parents to talk to me about whatever they want to talk about and to understand that everything is confidential and without judgement. I encourage and allow communication outside of work hours just in case there is an issue, a question, or just wanting to say hey. I give parent education at least once a month based on the child's area of growth, or upon request. I make daily sheets if parents show interest and I love to take pictures and will never share them without permission. I create the perfect balance of love and education. I start off with basic sign language for communication and social emotional skills without having to send your child to daycare. I give parents that feel of daycare without the lost items, shared sickness, limited hours, and higher tuition. I will not avoid organized mess because that is a part of learning but I do clean up right after and encourage the child to do so as well. Another thing you get with me that a lot of professionals do not do is moral training. I practice manners, confidence, self love, and respect for others. I have my own materials from art supplies, to books. I love my job, I have an extreme passion to show the world that child care is something to be taken seriously. Its more than who can watch my child for cheap/free, more than convenience. Life is short and it would be wise for one to invest all that they can to ensure the best for their future, their treasure, their child.
