Sitter in Ozark, Alabama

Hello! My name is Cheyenne and I am new to the Ozark area. I am originally from Colorado however, with my boyfriend being military, we relocated to this gorgeous area. I have years of paid and non-paid experience with children ages 6wks-12yrs. I started my journey in child care as a volunteer at my local community center's pre-school (4-5 yr. olds) while in middle school and continued into high school. For the past 2 years i have worked as a daycare substitute and later transitioned to a full-time job at a Child Development Center. In this center I started out in the Toddlers (1-2 yr olds) and stayed there for a few months. However, after my director and the infant teachers saw how quickly i grasped being in the infant room (6wks-1yr or walking) I worked in there for about 6 months. There were several perks working in there, from cuddling babies all day, to the pure wonder and curiosity in their eyes. After infants, I transitioned to our Transition room (2-3 or potty trained), I remained here until I moved to Alabama. Along with this CDC, I also worked with one of the School Age Centers (1st-5th grade) on Fort Carson. This is where I learned how independent young children are. After spending so much time with younger children, 6 an below, this was a surprising breath of fresh air. Along with actual businesses, I also have experience with being a nanny and a babysitter. This experience has allowed me to take several training and receive certifications for various things. Examples: CPR, First Aid, SIDS, Challenging Behavior, Safe Sleep, Abuse and Neglect, Shaken Baby Syndrome, Abusive Head Trauma, etc. Willing to provide proof upon request. I am comfortable with any and all age groups, and as a parent you can be comfortable and well- assured that your children are in caring hands. Additionally, i can provide multiple services, such as: in-home care, my own house is an option also, before and after school care, date nights, some weekends, over nights, pet sitting, house sitting, light housekeeping, etc. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns feel free to contact me!
