Hi :) My name is Summer. I am a 25 year old student studying programming in Toronto, looking for babysitting jobs in the area. I grew up surrounded by children all my life, and I have tons of babysitting experience. I have experience with infants, toddlers, children and teenagers. I also have experience with short-term live-in care (few days of parents being absent). I am certified in : Babysitting(Red Cross), First Aid CPR (Red Cross), Food Handler's Certificate Some relevant personal interests include early childhood education, psychology, and nutrition studies. A bit more about me, I am a very positive and warm person in general. I graduated a 3 year culinary arts program so if you need me to cook healthy meals for your children I can also do that. I learned patience and organization skills while working in various kitchens, which I think helps me work with kids well. When children misbehave, I first acknowledge their intentions and make them feel understood. Then, I proceed to help them analyze and learn from the situation themselves by discussing alternative methods of dealing with frustration. I speak to children only in loving tones, so if you need me to discipline your children by yelling at them, I am definitely not a suitable caregiver for your family. I can also provide pet care if needed, my family has a dog and two cats. I am fluent in Korean and English.
