Hello, my name is Brittany and I am a stay at home mom offering loving childcare in my home. I have more than 15 years experience working with children starting as a babysitter when I was 15 years old and moving on to work in daycare facilities. When I decided the daycare facility wasn't something I was comfortable with I became a live in nanny for a family of 5. I stayed with them until I married and had my first child. I then decided to offer care from my home. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have 2 children of my own, a daughter that is now 11 and a son that is 3. I have worked with children as young as 2 weeks and also have experience with elderly and people with physical and mental handicaps. I like to make sure the kids get to play outside as often as possible, we also play games, do arts and crafts and try to have lots of fun while working on learning numbers, colors, shapes, letters and other sorts of education based on their age. I also help reach milestones such as weaning from bottles and passifiers, and potty training. I don't allow t.v. or any other sorts of electronics, but prefer to encourage active play.
