I was a stay at home mom for 28 years. I started working at the YMCA's before and after care program in September of 2013 after my divorce. I worked with elementary school aged children, providing a safe environment in their schools while parents worked. In 2016, I was blessed to work for my son and daughter in law providing care for my 3-month-old granddaughter while her mom was a teacher and needed to return to work after maternity leave was over. I have also been involved with my son's travel baseball teams, earning the name "baseball mom of many". I received employee of the month from the YMCA in May of 2016.
