"I enjoy interacting with children of all ages,and would love to help a family in caring for their child's development! If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because children need someone who will make them feel secure, loved and important. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over fifteen years and can honestly say I enjoy what I do! I feel the children are little people who are honest, curious and eager to learn. My goal as a Nanny is to teach children the importance of being themselves and respecting others. I would encourage the children to learn through play and I would make sure that the family feels that their children are safe, happy and healthy. My first interest is their safety! I am willing to do light housekeeping at the family's request that included cleaning, laundry, meal preparation,errands,bath time and potty training. If I had to described myself in five adjectives I would say that I am patient, loving, fun, organized and responsible! Activities that I would like to incorporated in the daily plans for the family I care for would include healthy meals, reading time, walks, crafts and age appropriate learning workbooks. If asked to described the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be reliable, honest, loving and respectful people."
