Application: My name is Ashlyn Berry, I am 20 years old, and I love children with all my heart. I enjoy creating special bonds with the kids I babysit for so that they feel comfortable and loved by me. I have worked for 6 years through LongLeaf church as a childcare provider which includes setting up lesson plans for that Sundays events, effectively teaching them cooperation with others, sharing, and loving one another just as we love them! Not only have I worked with numerous families through babysitting, but I have had nannying experience watching after 3 children my first job and another 3 for my second. My mother has worked as a teacher for almost 20 years and is currently assistant principle of Greer Elementary School. I have had the privilege of working with not only her students for these years but teachers throughout the school's students as well, whether that be to just help them get ready by passing out activities, or to read a book to the class and help pronounce words they may have trouble with. As a senior in high-school, my mother and I tutored elementary school students who needed helped in succeeding in their grade level. All in all I love children with all of my heart and enjoy more than anything helping them feel confident and loved as much as I am capable of!
