I can't wait to meet you and your family! As an aspiring Kindergarten teacher, children are my passion. I have experience babysitting kids of all ages, kids with disabilities, and I was a live-in nanny for almost two years. I was lucky enough to have to opportunity to serve in AmeriCorps for two terms as a math and reading tutor. This gave me classroom experience and allowed me to plan all of my own lessons. I am currently attending UH Hilo to get my degree in teaching. As a live-in nanny, I had the opportunity to care for the most amazing 10-year-old girl. We spent our days swimming in their pool outside, building log forts, going on awesome adventures, exploring our neighborhood, exercising our minds and bodies, as well some less exciting tasks. We also had daily homework and reading time, where both of us would sit down and work on her homework. I also made meals, performed daily cleaning tasks, and transported her to and from school.
