Hello, my name is Kaye. I'm a credentialed teacher who coaches parents of behaviorally challenging kids. I understand, even the most secret struggles of raising disorganized, ADD, abnormally-sensitive, easily-stimulated, often-overloaded, unusually-obstinate children. I've been there and have come through the other side. I'm new to the area (Redding, CA) and until I begin full-time work, I'm available to help with your childcare / babysitting needs. I may be available longer-term on a more limited basis. Would you like a caretaker that will do more than make sure the kids live through the evening? I'm hands on, and will focus on building character and shoring up abilities in your children. My first priority is to instill in kids a love for making, and eating the kinds of healthy foods that help to regulate mood swings. I don't allow TV, internet, or phone time (unless it's necessary for school work) and have a million better things to do with our time together. I will model, teach, and support good character development, flexible thinking, creative activities, problem solving, good communication, self-management, home care, and other life skills. As I've recently arrived from overseas, I don't yet have my own car, but may be able to bicycle to your home. I expect to have a car in the near future.
