Sitter in Bayonne, New Jersey

Thank you for taking time to read my profile :) The basics- My name is Jennie Riccio, and I live in Bayonne, NJ. I am a single, 29 year-old female with an abundance amount of experience babysitting and working with children. I am currently entering my eighth year of teaching elementary school right here in Bayonne. I have one year of experience in Title I teaching children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Next I went on to teach Kindergarten for three years, and now I am embarking on my fourth year of 3rd grade. After school I conduct a dance troupe with third and fourth graders where I promote a happy and healthy life-style through the performing arts. With my job alone, I have a great deal of knowledge and experience with children of various ages. A proud aunt of two children, I also assist my brother and sister “in-law” with my three year-old nephew and one-year old niece. I feel lucky to be the younger sibling so that I can learn a great deal before I become a parent myself one dreamy day. During high school and college I worked for the YMCA as a camp counselor and was eventually appointed as one of the head counselors after several years. In addition, I have been a babysitter to many families. As a teacher with some free time on my hands during the summer and after school, I am available to help you and your family. Whether I am someone steady Monday through Friday or someone you can call if you need a few hours for errands/pampering, I am a very responsible person to trust your child with. Safety is ALWAYS in mind, and I have a very upbeat, patient, and warm personality that children genuinely take to. This is definitely because I am a child at heart just with all of the sense and caution it requires to care for children. I hope to hear from you to see if I am the right person for your family.
