Hi, My name is Christina Whipple. Opening a registered in-home daycare has always been a dream of mine. I’ve worked with children of all ages for over 15 years. I started by watching my two younger brothers and then slowly began to watch other children. I’ve worked in childcare centers, home daycares and was also a private nanny for 5 years. I gave birth to my son during the last year I was a nanny and decided it was time to follow my dream. My husband and I recently bought our first home in West Irondequoit. With the help of our family and friends, we have made it a safe fun learning environment for all children. I have an Associate’s Degree in Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I have also taken many trainings including Health and Safety, Child and Adult Food Program, Child Abuse Detection Training, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Training.
