Hello, My name is Sarah. I started my child care experience at the typical teenage age. I started off with my two nieces and nephews. I quickly realized this was something I loved. When I began high school I enrolled in a child development course where I studied and was tested for my certifications to work in daycare. I also gained over 150 hours of volunteer experience in elementary schools with kindergarten age groups. I was soon hired by the overseeing teacher at one of the schools and began sitting for her and numerous friends of hers. After high school I became a live-in nanny for my sister for her 2 year old son and 2 year old foster child. This proved to be the most challenging but rewarding job I have experienced thus far.
