Sitter Job in Portland, Oregon

HI! I'm the mother of 2 beautiful children, ages 2 and 4. My 2 year old son has down syndrome so I do have some experience with special needs. Very flexible with hours. As a single Mother, my biggest obstacle has been finding affordable childcare for my children. The only people and places that seem willing are not the type of places I'd feel comfortable dropping off my child. I wanted to give parents what I could not find. Affordable yet safe and loving childcare. I was in a spot where I made too much for state assistance of any type so childcare cost has been entirely out of pocket for me. On a budget like that, There was not much I could afford for 2 children. In the childcare field these days, no one who is responsible enough to be watching your children is going to take so little. I want to be that person. I want to be able to help families like mine who try so hard to make ends meet for their babies. I have worked in the Catering and Hotel field for years now and I feel it on my heart to be available to other families like mine. My childcare experience includes raising my own children, working in a Sunday school nursery and occasionally watching the children of family, friends, etc. so my experience may not be up to par with those who have worked this field for many years, but I can promise you safe and happy babies.
