Rachael Love has been an integral part of our pediatric transplant team this past year. Probably the skills most applicable to taking care of kids involved our annual patient/family event. Rachael singlehandedly planned and facilitated the crafts activities. She helped our pediatric patients (age 3 to 18) feel special, while creating a space where they could be challenged and have fun. Rachael seems to have a natural love for kids and prides herself on supporting them, allowing them to experience accomplishment and feel proud of themselves. She does this with a huge smile under a safe, watchful eye.
