We are a private preschool located in Alameda, California. We foster social development, motor development and early educational development. We offer a safe and nurturing environment that allows you as parents the peace of mind when going to work and emotional security for children. Children need loving relationships and safe, secure, stimulating environments if they are to reach their potential. Also, the children will learn Spanish and engage in Latino culture through song, dance, and visual arts. Alameda Bilingual Preschool is open 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, year round and serves children ages two (potty trained) to six years old. Multiage groups are known to be more family like, providing older children opportunities to be helpful to younger ones. Enrollment is available to children within this age range regardless of race, gender, ethnic background, national origin, or religion. The School reserves the right to refuse admission based upon likelihood to benefit from the School program. We want every child to develop a love of learning through play exploration and “hands on” activities. We have an emergent curriculum ("Reggio Emilia). Our small classes guarantee individual attention. Studies have suggested that if there are more than 18 children in a group, the children receive an inferior program because of inadequate individual attention.
