Sitter Job in Walnut Creek, California

We are looking for a fun-loving, intelligent, reliable and caring female college student to be both our summer full time nanny and then after school nanny come fall. This could be the best job as our kids are older and are really great kids. We need someone to drive them to fun summer activities, help with homework and generally be there for them when they come home from school in the afternoons. Ideal candidate is kind, thoughtful, fun, honest and active. Must have good judgment and excellent communication skills, enjoy the outdoors and able to send texts/pictures to parents. Current college student is a plus. No high school applicants, please. Location: Walnut Creek Schedule: Summer Months: 10am-6pm Monday through Friday Starting August 22nd - After School from 2:30pm-6:00pm Monday through Friday Children: Girls ages 11 & 14 Responsibilities: Childcare, light tidying, help with children’s laundry, pickup from school (Foothill Middle and Northgate High School), homework help and drive to daily activities. Salary: $15 per hour Requirements: Must have a valid CA driver's license, good driving record and proof of valid car insurance At least 1-2 years of experience working with kids. Experience working at a summer camp is OK Must own a clean and reliable car CPR certified is a plus (we will pay to have you certified if you are not).
