Sitter in Chico, California

Hello! I am a 29-year-old substitute teacher here in Chico, working on getting my teaching credential. My degrees are in Art and French. I have a flexible schedule until school starts and am hoping to find a few babysitting jobs this summer. I have fingerprint clearance from both the local School District and the Department of Justice. In addition to subbing K-12, I have worked as an infant teacher and preschool teacher on U.S. military bases in Key West and Germany. My certifications include current First Aid/CPR for all ages, as well as Lifeguarding. Basically, your little ones would be super safe with me :) Art projects, walks to the park, and other outdoor activities are some of my favorite things to do with children I sit for, and I have a library of kid-friendly songs in my head! I'm a good cook and don't mind doing kid-related dishes and laundry, but I find that heavier housework hurts my ability to provide quality care and attention. My driving record is squeaky clean, but I drive a pickup that is only really suitable to transport older children (no safe spot for a carseat.)
