As a “manny" style caretaker, I’m someone who loves to create a learning, expressive, and safe space for children of stages to grow, collaborate, and be themselves. I show self assurance in my performance by providing quality, secure, and responsible care for all members of the family, animals included. I’m someone who engages with everyone I meet, always wearing a smile. I’m knowledgable of early childhood development, familiar with behavioral complexities, LGBTQ youth, personal and home safety precautions, food allergies, and first aid care. I express extra value for communication and expression recognition when working with children in order to ensure their needs are met. I confront each situation with compassion, a genuine willingness to listen, remain calm, and validate. Upbeat creativity and forward thinking is applied to keep kids energized and constantly evolving as time is spent together. I believe knowing how to comfort takes a warm, patient heart, empathy, and understanding. I have plenty of youthful energy that I transform into active games and theatrical playtime. All comes with a calm, quiet transition into bedtime, which is different for all families but my 12 years of first-person experience has me flexible for all routines.
