I have an interest in providing care to children of various ages including infancy to early childhood ages. I have watched my niece and nephew from infancy until their present ages of 6 and 9. I currently work as an Elementary Literacy Reading Corps tutor, working with students in First through Third grade. I have summers off. I am capable of completing all of the activities of daily living necessary for children including light meal preparation, helping with changing diapers/clothes/potty training, etc. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, along with a minor in Human Relations from St. Cloud State University. As part of my course work, I completed courses in Early childhood Development including the life span, childcare techniques and various other courses to enhance my knowledge on childcare. I also have interned and worked as a substitute paraprofessional at three elementary schools with children in pre-school through 6th grade.
