I am a seasoned and certified postpartum daycare doula/support for new moms and families returning home after the birth of the baby, for up to 2 weeks post delivery. The services I provide are designed to support new moms in getting the rest, nutrition, and breastfeeding support they need in the transition from birth to parenthood. Services include cooking, bringing food, water and/or breastfeeding tea to mom before nursing, preparing an herbal sitz bath to speed healing to moms bottom, care for baby while mom takes a nap, demonstrating and helping with infant bathing, soothing, and breastfeeding latch, taking away the pressure of household chores such as laundry, dishes, and organizing of baby changing station and clothing, and emotional support. Qualifications: Postpartum doula since 2009, B.A. in Psychology with knowledge of mild to extreme postpartum depression, Maternity Wise certified postpartum doula January 2013, CPR certified, TB up to date, as well as Pertussis and Flu vaccines.
