Sitter in Fargo, North Dakota

I started working with children when I was in 7th and 8th grade. I babysat regularly for several families and did childcare for a church weekly. In high school I worked at a daycare for three years. I was mainly with the infants and toddlers but also worked with children ages three through five. During this time I also babysat regularly for a couple of families. In recent years I have had several practicums through MSUM and through the Minnesota Reading Corps in local elementary schools. Through MSUM I have spent time in a Kindergarten and third grade classroom, and I did literacy tutoring in a Kindergarten and fifth grade classroom through the Minnesota Reading Corps. In the summer of 2014 I had a morning nanny job. In the summer of 2015 I worked as the elementary teacher at the Academy for Children, a Montessori school. I had children in my class ranging from kindergarten to 13 years old. I have also babysat for a couple of families in Fargo. I currently am student teaching in a preschool classroom and pursuing degrees in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Inclusive Education.
