Norwood Park Community Learning Center is immediately seeking a highly energetic person for an assistant teacher position! Norwood Park is located in the Havelock area at 4710 N. 72nd St. Lincoln, NE 68507 Available Hours: 6:45-8:45 and/or 3:15 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Under the direction of the Lead Teacher and School Community Coordinator, the Assistant Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing activities for the before and after school licensed childcare program, interacting and supervising elementary aged children, and creating and maintaining positive relationships with students, families, and staff. Assistant Teachers must support the overarching objectives of a 21st Century Learning Center: Smart Kids, Thriving Families, and Strong Neighborhoods. *Minimum 1 year working with school-aged children. *Enthusiastic and positive attitude toward children and families. *Must willing to interact and engage with children. *Must complete CPR and First Aid and meet all licensing requirements. *Must be able to work as a part of a team in professional manner with NFC staff, school staff, students, and families.
