-Seeking immediate excellent after-school care Monday through Friday during school year until June 2014. -Care needed for two children (Boy, age 6 & Girl, age 11). -Children will need to be picked up from nearby school. -General hours would be 3 p.m. -6 p.m. -Occassionally, when school is not in session/closed for the day, 8 a.m. -3 p.m. care may be needed (1-2 times a month). Occassionally, 3 p.m. -9 p.m. care will be needed (1-2 times a month) due to parent's work schedule. -Care is NOT needed for school year vacations or legal holidays (e. g., Labor Day, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, etc...). -Provider will be asked to: 1. Drive to pick up children from school and bring home 2. Occassionally take children to activities 3. Assist with homework and socially interact with children as well as monitor outdoor play 4. Prepare a light snack for children (and possibly warm up dinner) 5. Light housekeeping (clean up kitchen after eating, etc..) 6. Prompt bedtime routine 7. Become First Aid & CPR trained, if not (Family will cover cost) -Preferences: 1. Responsible, dependable, energetic, punctual, caring individual 2. Provider must have a good driving record and reliable car 3. Non-smoker
