Sitter in Joplin, Missouri

Hi! I am a mom of 2! I have two little girls ages 4 years old and 8 months old. I decided to become a stay at home mom after my second child was born. Shortly after staying at home I felt the need to start a small in home child care. I currently have 3 full time spots open for ages 2 through 5. The day usually begins with breakfast (if needed), then we listen to music and have floor time play. Depending on weather the rest of the morning is spent either outside playing or inside reading/singing. Lunch is served around 11:30-12.... After lunch, again depending on weather, it's outdoor play or floor time play. Naps are taken around 1:30 and I try to shoot for a 2 hour nap. Once the kids wake up we have a small snack and play some more until parents pick up. Play activities include creative play with play doh, dress up, dancing, board games, free play or a craft. Wednesdays are my days that are main craft days but sometimes I will change it up. I have a degree in Therapeutic Recreation so my main belief in early childhood learning is through play!
