While I was in high school, I volunteered at my local church in the preschool and first grade sections. I also volunteered in my sister's first grade class. I was 10 when my brother was born, and 11 when my sister was born, so I have helped my parents with them, given more responsibility and watched them alone as I got older. While my major does not in any way affiliate me with childcare, I have always enjoyed taking care of children. My availability for the summer is very open, and I would be willing to work on weekends.
