Sitter Job in Kent, Ohio

QUALIFICATIONS: Child Development Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in any field AVAILABILITY: Must be available MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 6:30 - 8:30 A.M. AND 3-6 P.M. during the Kent City Schools school year (8/17/15...) with possible summer employment available. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Excellent organizational skills a must. Supervising up to 45 children ages 5-12 in Kindergarten through 6th grade with up to 2 staff members, monitoring that all state child care licensing regulations are followed, interacting with parents and school faculty, marketing the program, attending monthly staff meetings and child development trainings, handling conflict resolution within children, adapting to behavioral and educational needs of children, etc. Experience with management, ODJFS child care licensing regulations, supervising children and/or staff, teaching/tutoring a plus.
