Do you have a child with type 1 diabetes? Are you nervous about leaving your child with babysitters, friends, even family? I understand your situation because my son has been living with diabetes for almost 4 years. Weighing food, counting carbs, monitoring blood sugar levels, treating highs and lows, and giving insulin injections are a way of life in my home. I take pride in my ability to manage this disease.
