Sitter Job in Chandler, Arizona

At the East Valley Jewish Community Center in Chandler AZ, we are committed to instilling a love of discovery in children; each day, we help them become independent, life-long learners. We are looking for * Early Childhood staff with a background in early childhood education (a CDA, AA or higher is a plus) and 2 years teaching experience preferred * Elementary School age staff - Must be 21, have a valid AZ driver's license, clean driving record and be available from 2-6 pm Our staff are expected to: * be friendly and welcoming to parents, children, & staff. * work with children and families to meet their needs. * implement the current curriculum, engage with the children, smile and talk with them. * provide a safe, warm and nurturing environment that is flexible to meet the needs of the students. * work to ensure that by whatever rational and legal means necessary each customer, guest and visitor leave the JCC feeling just a little better than when they arrived. Staff who work over 30 hours/week are eligible for paid time off and health benefits after 90 days of employment.
