To Whom It May Concern: My son (4 yrs) and daughter (2 yrs) have attended Teaching Tot’s Home Daycare for the past 3 years. Patricia is a warm and caring individual and spends a lot of time making the children feel that they are in a family environment. She is truly a home away from home for my kids while my husband and I are at work. My kids have forged friendships at her daycare that have continued into JK for my son and the excitement that my daughter shows each morning on her way to daycare to see her friends is priceless. Patricia also has many organized activities which include indoor/outdoor play time, story/song time, lunch, snacks and nap/down time. My children are always engaged in some sort of activity whether they brought home a craft project on a rainy/cold day or they spent the afternoon playing in the sprinkler in the heat of summer. On top of all the fun, Patricia makes certain that the concepts and skills she teaches in her pre-school program adequately prepare the kids at her daycare for a successful junior kindergarten year. My son was well-prepared and ahead of the game in his kindergarten class this year, with many positive comments from his teachers. I know it can be difficult to leave your children in someone else’s care and finding a child care provider you can trust is vital. Patricia has been caring for my son for 1.5 years and I am very pleased with her services. I can see that my son is learning so much while in her care and how much he thrives at Teaching Tots. My son is asthmatic and Patricia is incredibly attentive and proactive to his condition, which is very comforting to know while I am at work.
