littlebearcare..... Little Bear Care offers full time, part time and drop in childcare care, while also incorporating a Preschool Curriculum for children between the ages of 2-5 years old. I'm licensed through the State of Washington and the City of Snoqualmie. I have completed training through the Department of Early Learning. Prior to beginning the process of opening Little Bear Care, I worked as an accountant for a real estate investment company, and it was there that I realized that I was in the wrong profession. Working with and for children is my ultimate passion, so what could be better than opening and operating my very own childcare business. Prior to being in the accounting industry, I was a Nanny for multiple families over the course of five years. References are available upon request. I have met all of the requirements through the Washington State of Early Learning. I am certified in CPR & First Aid. Each year I will take anywhere from 20-40 hours of continuing education classes to better serve your child's needs. Little Bear Care offers a Preschool Curriculum for children between the ages of 2-5, along with educational games, books, toys and puzzles, while also offering a vast array of other learning activities at your child's disposal. Our day will revolve around the children using their creative minds and expressing themselves through arts and crafts and imaginative play. Monthly to bi-monthly field trips will be planned. I will read with the children on a daily basis, teaching them new vocabulary and other sight words so they can begin their journey of reading independently. Children should have the opportunity to experience learning at their own pace in a positive and encouraging environment, which is exactly what I will offer them. Included in the child's tuition, the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month is "Parents' Night Out." The parents will have the opportunity to enjoy a quiet night out, kid free, while the children and I enjoy a pizza and movie night! Pick-Up time is by 10:00pm. Nutritious meals and snacks will be served. Little Bear Care's hours of operation are from 7:00am-6:00pm; Monday-Friday. Children that need care on a full time basis is preferred, but Part Time and Drop-Ins are welcome. For Drop-In care, you will need to call ahead of time to assure there is availability due to capacity regulations.
