Hi, I'm Shelby! I am 21 years old and I am a student attending Algonquin College in the Early Childhood Education program. I have experience with children from ages 0-13. I have gained this experience through working as a babysitter, a camp counselor and have been working one on one tutor/companionship with a child with autism for over 2 years. I completed my student placement at a preschool, shadowing an early childhood educator. I am still in school but am able to work between classes and on weekends and evenings. I am eager to expand my practice by gaining more experience and applying the knowledge I have learned in school. I have always wanted to work with children and I am very excited to have the privilege of building the minds of children through play based activities. I am a timely person, while also being reliable, trustworthy and compassionate.
