We are pleased to announce the opening of JUBILEE KIDS: Child-care with Christian values and a holistic approach. We are currently in the process of becoming licensed with Anoka County. We have an opening for one full-time family with two or more children, all ages welcome! Monday - Friday, hours of operation are flexible. ABOUT US: We are mother/daughter co-owners. {Mother} A musician, author, artist, and grandma with over 40 years experience in childcare, with 7 grown children of her own, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. {Daughter} An artist, hobby-herbalist, former doula, and stay at home mommy of a toddler and preschooler, with over 10 years experience as nanny, kindergarten teacher's assistant, preschool teacher, and a volunteer Sunday school teacher. Together we are loving, devoted childcare professionals with the gift to reach each and every child and instill a love for learning, and a love for the Lord. We have a demonstrated talent for designing theme based age-appropriate lessons and activities that teach fundamental academic and socialization skills. JUBILEE KIDS OFFERS: - A fun, warm, safe, clean, and healthy/holistic environment for children to learn and grow - Creative style of teaching children using art, dance, and lots of music! - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate working relationships with children and their families - Storytelling to further language and vocabulary development - Facilitated exercise in a large, fully fenced back yard, with lots of outdoor play items - Daily opportunities to learn and experience nature at it's finest in our own back yard, as well as walks to nearby parks {weather permitting} - Daily activities that emphasize children's emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual development - Our classroom furniture is arranged in a way that reflects the philosophy that children play and learn on the basis of their needs, curiosity, and inclination WHAT MAKES US "HOLISTIC"? - Children eat nourishing homemade meals, using primarily organic/non-GMO foods - We are able to work around any dietary restrictions, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, etc. - Certified Organic Essential Oils are diffused aromatically throughout the rooms where the children play and sleep. These oils all have different effects to enhance the environment. Some of the effects include, but are not limited to: calming, soothing, anti-aggression, energizing, mental clarity, enhanced memory, helps maintain attention/focus, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal to help deter sickness and create a healthier atmosphere! *The use of EO's in our daycare is only with parents full approval, of course! We never apply to the children directly unless a parent specially requests it and signs a waiver. - No chemicals used in cleaning supplies. Instead we use a combination of essential oils (with anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties) diluted with distilled water, and Seventh Generation Multi-Surface Disinfecting Cleaner and Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes - Children help make and drink freshly pressed fruit juice - Water is purified using reverse osmosis HOW DO WE INTEGRATE OUR CHRISTIAN VALUES? - Unlike secular childcare centers who only keep children safe from physical harm, we go two steps further and also protect the purity of children's minds and spirits. We use Deuteronomy 18:10-14 as our standard for what toys, books, curriculum, movies, etc., that we allow and don't allow into our center - We integrate bible teachings into our daily curriculum, and incorporate the fruits of the spirit in all that we do {Love, Peace, Faithfulness, Joy, Goodness, Gentleness, Patience, Self-Control, and Kindness} - Many other holistic child care centers offer meditation time to their children, but we are proud to facilitate spiritual growth via praise/worship and prayer time with our children Contact us today for more information!
