My name is Ashley L. I am looking for a full time nanny position. I am available to start August 17th. I am 21 years old and I live in Auburn Hills with my husband and our three animals. I studied Human Service and Early Childhood Education at Baker College. I currently work for Rochester Community Schools as a lead child care provider. I am responsible for up to 72 children, lesson planning, facilitating activities, communicating with parents and school administration as well as overseeing four other staff members. I attend 16 hours of professional development each year, ranging from new activities, discipline styles, and working with special needs, and I am certified in CPR and first aid. I also had to pass a background check and be fingerprinted to work at a school. I am seeking a new position so that I can develop a long term relationship with a single family. I have mainly worked with children aged 4 to 11 but I also have experience with infants and toddlers from babysitting and helping my aunt at her childcare center. I am very confident in my ability to work with children of all ages. I love doing arts and crafts with children as well as encouraging imaginative and musical play. I like taking children outside and getting them moving. I value safety above all else, then fun, creativity, and learning. I am willing to do housework, meal preparation, and I am comfortable looking after pets. I have a clean driving record and a safe car if transportation would be necessary. I am hoping to find a full time position, not just before and/or after school. Thank you for your time.
