Sitter in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin

Hi everyone! My name is Leann, and I'm a Mama, teacher, and Wisconsin transplant all rolled into one (but not new to being a Packers fan!). I'm staying home with my 2 little ones (6-months-old and 2-years-old) until my youngest is in school, and during this time period I am pursuing my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education while hoping to take care of a couple other little ones (be it occasionally or regularly). I don't babysit. I don't nanny. I teach. Every single silly moment in a child's life, no matter how young or old, is a learning opportunity that I aim to make the most of. My post-baccalaureate career has focused on infant/toddler development (in daycares) and pre-school teaching. I've also worked extensively with children on the autism spectrum. I'm a very patient and kind-hearted person who loves nothing more than making children smile. My days are now filled with silly songs, dancing like no one is watching (really, please, I hope no one can see my crazy Alphabet dance...), fingerpainting, reading books, exploring outside and so much more. I have a blast with my kids every single day, and I would love for them to have some playmates (especially since my 2-year-old is getting bigger everyday!). You only have one childhood, and I would be blessed if I had children aside from my own who one day look back to reflect upon how I helped to shape them - learning, love, and FUN - that's what we are all about!
