Sitter in Spring, Texas

Hi!! My name is Catherine, but most call me Cat. I am currently working to get out of debt using the Dave Ramsey system (it's AWESOME and I highly recommend it to ALL). As I am looking for a supplemental income to my current career and I love kids, what better way to earn extra money to get out of debt!?!? A bit about my kid experience: I am the oldest of 4 kids and have been involved in childcare since I can remember. I was the regular sitter for a few families through high school along with having helped raise a family friends 3 girls. I also acted as a live in nanny for another friend while living in San Diego in 2005. She was a single mother who worked, and I cared for her 7 yr old, taking her to and from school, along with her 3 yr old daughter and infant son. In more recent years, I watch friends kids on occasion ranging from infant to young teens, and am an active adult figure in my roommate's daughter's life having been with her since she was born. She is now 4 years old and she and I love having "girlie days" together. Regarding my career, I am a project coordinator for a global ship engineering company Mon-Fri, but was a medical assistant while living in Seattle, WA before moving to the Houston area in Aug. 2010. Although not currently certified in CPR/First Aid, I was the acting fire warden and CPR/First Aid liaison of my department for 4 years and intend to get my re-certification when the next class is offered at work. I have my own transportation along with valid insurance and drivers license if requested, and I am comfortable with having children in my car if needed. I am also an animal lover with three "fur babies" at home, so pets are not an issue. So that's me in a nut shell!!
