Sitter in Monroe, New York

Seeking a position for the summer - weekends and/or weekday evenings. (I currently hold a summer school position weekdays Monday-Friday from about 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.) I have worked in a variety of child care and educational settings. For instance, I have worked two summers at Orange-Ulster BOCES as a Para-Educator and will be returning this July as a one-on-one Para-Educator (classroom aide for students with special needs). I have previously worked as a Substitute Assistant Teacher at Creative Children Christian Preschool. In the past, I also held a position at Little Pals Preschool as an After-School Care Provider. At both BOCES and Little Pals, I have had experience assisting students with elementary-level work in reading, spelling, writing, mathematics, and science. I am currently an undergraduate Childhood and Special Education major with a Science concentration, so I have knowledge of typical elementary-school child development and common educational strategies.
