Hello family! My name is Briana and I am a senior undergraduate Public health student at UC Berkeley. Before I entered college work as an assistant teacher at Katy Montessori in Houston, Texas, where I taught kids ages 18 months to 5 years.Through this experience, I learned how to coherently explain myself and be understood by someone who has a very limited vocabulary, while at the same time confirming my love for early child education and children! Moreover, the Montessori model stressed independent work and the child's direct control of their environment through sensory, language and mathematical education. It has been my mission since then to commit to establishing a rapport and a constant line of communication with those I babysit with compassion and love. This position led me to work 3 years educating high school seniors in health education across the Bay Area with a teaching organization. Moreover in the recent past 9 months, I began babysitting ages 3 to 15 years old. I am committed to taking care of children and assisting in any needs , educational or otherwise if need be! I love to play music - and I having 10 years of choral experience - so if the kids would like a music lesson or just want to sing along with me to a song, I would be happy to do that! -I am currently located in Oakland,I look forward to hearing from you Briana
