*RATES TO BE DETERMINED* I am opening my own home child care in the downtown area! I am looking for children between the ages of 1 year to 3 years old and everything in between! I plan on opening my child care within the first week of December so I am looking for families that are ready to take part in this adventure! I am currently in the process of getting everything prepared for your wonderful children! I have posted a picture of the living room (this will be converted into the playroom for the children NO TELEVISION will be in the room once it is finished) I have also posted a picture of the yard where the children will be able to partake in gross motor activities. A little information about me: I am 20 years old and I have recently graduated from the Early Childhood Education program at Conestoga College. I am registered with the College of ECE’s and I am in good standing with the college. I have a recent (within 3 months) criminal records check, I also have my CPR level C certification. I have experience with all age groups from infant to school age. I currently am employed with the YWCA but, am ready and eager to start my own daycare! My philosophy: I believe that children learn best by doing and real life experiences. This means your child will be involved in decision making, and basically be in the driver seat when it comes to what they want to learn. Your child will have extend periods of play time to help evoke provocations! I do have 2 pets they are cats, for some animals in a day care may be a deal breaker but here is why they are good for your children! Animals help teach children responsibility, it helps each child develop attachment and emotional skills, and will also help reduce likely hood of potential animal allergy in the future.
