My name is Brooke Petro and I am a college student at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. I am an active member and captain of the cheerleading team, a student government senator, and a dedicated student. Past experience and qualifications: I began babysitting part time at the age of 14 and then began summer positions at the age of 17. I completed my first live-in summer position in Pittsburgh. My second live in position took place in Southampton last year tending to two children (ages 2 and 6). My duties and responsibilities for the family included the following: -Preparing meals for the family (am experienced with gluten free cooking and cooking for children with allergies) -Packing the children's lunches and camp bags -Driving the children to camp, sporting events, beach, etc. -Completing house keeping, laundry, organization while the children attended camp -Spending time outdoors with children and thinking of fun indoor activities for the children -Bathing children and getting children ready for bed Though my list seems extremely formal, I believe that I am a fun and exciting nanny that provides a positive experience for the entire family. I truly love working with children of all ages and pride myself in my ability to connect with young children. Besides babysitting and nannying, I have also coached gymnastics for 5 years and have volunteered at sports camps that teach a variety of sports. I also volunteer as a grade school tutor at my college. I feel it is extremely important for children to be active and to have an exciting, enjoyable couple of months off of school. Most importantly, I would love to be as helpful as possible to give you time with your children without the worries of housekeeping, cooking, etc. Though I am only available as a summer nanny, I would love to work for you and become a part of your family this summer.
