Sitter in Burlington, Vermont

Hi! I am an experienced babysitter, I worked with a family of 3 children (starting at 9 months to age 8) for 5 years,& a family of 2 (6-9) additionally for one year. I have done this part time during my time as a special education assistant at a public school for 6 years. I have been in both preschool and kindergarten rooms, and worked in an intensive special Ed Pre-K program for 3 years I am very comfortable with children of all abilities. I have both degrees in early childhood education and visual arts, and spent one year as a part time art teacher in a small private elementary school. I feel I am very patient and mild mannered, and love doing creative projects/music/cooking/outdoor activities with kids! Since I'm an artist, art is my favorite thing to do with kids. I've recently relocated to Burlington after leaving teaching to travel a bit, and look forward to working with children again! I am up for helping with any cooking or housekeeping, love pets, and have a car!
