After two years with our wonderful nanny Carmen, our family is relocating to New Jersey and Carmen will be available to help a new family staring in August 2014. Carmen currently cares for our three children (3, 2, and newborn) full-time and has over twenty years of childcare experience. Rather than list all the things she does with the children during the day (meals, playdates and playgrounds, classes, etc.), the best endorsement we can give is that the children are always excited to see "Ms. Carmen" in the morning. She prepares them healthy, fresh meals, takes the children outside for adventures at nearby parks and centers every day, reads and sings to them, and keeps them engaged throughout the day. From the parent perspective, Carmen traveled with us for a three-month work assignment which took us to New Jersey last summer and we could not have asked for a more reliable, loving, and flexible caregiver! Carmen is a legal permanent resident, fluent in both English and Spanish, has a valid driver's license and provides her own transportation, and would be open to a full-time position anywhere in the Northern Virginia area.
