Sitter in Albany, New York

Hello everyone! I'm 20 and am currently studying sociology and minoring in theater, psychology and women's studies at the University at Albany. I am the oldest of 3. While in high school I served as the neighborhood babysitter. I have cared for people as long as I can remember. I have dealt with extreme special needs with my younger sister who is allergic to protein. She cannot have many foods people normally eat without having a seizure. My brother also has special needs, he is diagnosed with ADD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder and can be a handful. I am extremely patient and understanding when it comes to younger children. I enjoy reading, painting, and drawing with children. When the weather is nice, I really like to be outside, at least for nature walks. I can handle cooking, light-cleaning, and driving children around. I am comfortable working with children as young as newborn, as long as I have specific guidance on how each child is treated. I find children exciting and love spending time as a role model. Regards, Tara
