Sitter in Washington, District of Columbia

I'm an
Individual
My name is Jenna and I work professionally as a Political Analyst at a research firm in Washington, D.C. In terms of childcare and engagement, I worked for one year as a City Year Corps Member in a 2nd grade classroom, providing full in-classroom support to the instructor and tutoring and mentoring small groups in mathematics and English/language arts. I created engaging and active lesson plans for all kinds of learners. I have experience working in 1st-4th grade classrooms, especially in test preparation and diversified student-focused curriculum. I have also been a Nanny to two different families, one at the Air Force base and one in Florida (where I am originally from). I have a lot of other babysitting and tutoring experience. I am CPR certified for adults, children, and infants and have gotten a background check (via SitterCity.....) and have been fingerprinted (per DCPS regulations). I have two younger siblings, who I helped raise, and am very close with. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, have taken courses at Georgetown University, GWU, and am pursuing my Master's in Quantitative Analysis from American University. Personal hobbies include reading, writing, cooking (I host a food blog, SundayCheffing.....), staying active, and being outside.
