I've been a nanny/babysitter for several years and I have fallen in love with what I do. I love playing with the children and watching them grow as if they were my own. I have experience in caring for infants all through early teens. I am willing to do overnight care. I am willing to run errands and do light housekeeping. My rates are $13 - $17 an hour (the average rate in my area for pay is $16.36) if the location where I will care for children is near my home (e.g. Gurnee, Lake Forest, Lake Bluff) and areas that are further away require extra gas and thus I charge $20 - $25 an hour or a gas stipend. Rates also depend on the daily tasks that need to be carried out. However, we can discuss my rates as I am a flexible person. I can provide excellent references and letters of recommendation as I have a very good relationship with my previous employers. I am excited to announce that I am scheduled to take my CPR certification class in two weeks!
