About ME - I love helping children develop to their fullest potential through activities like singing, creative dancing, art, storytelling, and instrument exploration. These activities foster a child’s emotional growth, socialization, language skills, discipline, problem solving, critical thinking, and self-esteem. - I have taught violin (Suzuki method) for over 15 years to ages 3 and up. I have observed how the early years in a child’s life are vital in developing fine motor, cognitive and social skills. - I have also taught music& movement classes at local community centers, preschools and childcare centers since 2004. - I am a Business College graduate. GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Enrollment is open to boys and girls who age 3 ½ – 5 years and toilet trained by August 1st. 2. Classes taught in a spacious home located in Takoma Park, MD, near the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Glenside Drive. 3. My classes are co-ed with up to 10 children in each class. 4. Two Convenient Options to Choose From (2 day program): Monday & Wednesday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm or Tuesday & Thursday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm 5. Fall registration is under way.
