Faith Child Development Center is a ministry of Faith Lutheran Church in Sebring, Florida. The Center provides a Christian environment for children to grow spiritually , intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. Each developmentally appropriate activity is an opportunity for children to explore their world. Our daily schedule includes a Bible story and prayer time appropriate for children of preschool age. Faith Child Development Center is a licensed preschool and an approved provider for the Department of Children and Families for the State of Florida. The school offers the VPK and School Readiness subsidies provided by the Early Learning Coalition of Florida's Heartland. VPK or Voluntary Pre Kindergarten is a three hour per day class held during the school year. It is free to the parent. Our VPK classes run 8:30 am - 11:30 am. A child must be four years old by September 1st to participate in this program. School Readiness is a subsidy for families who may qualify because of a demonstrated economic need. Parents must work a minimum 20 hours per week or attend classes at least 20 hours per week to qualify for this subsidy. We also offer day care from 7:15 am - 5:30 pm Monday-Friday for two and one half, three, four and five year old children.
